Keil specificly says it covers if statement. 8 bit numbers are converted to 16 bit. I recall in the past ( I may be wrong) It covered calculations and switch statments. I know other compilers (Not 8051) always use ints for switch statments.
I guess that is why after many years many 8051 compilers have been weeded out. And Keil asks for and gets top dollar. maybe the question should be ASM veries which C compiler. |
