I have a 8031 and i'm using my timer's as a RTC ( Real Time Clock ) , but there is something I don't know , if configured the timer to count up with every machine cycle , but then I see on the 8031 , that I also have T1 and T0 legs , I figure they set the Timers frequency , so my question is as follows :
if my T1 and T0 legs are NOT connected
will my timer still incremenet every machine cycle ? or should I connect it to the crystal to do so ?
