In this context, "Legacy" is often taken to mean something outdated which is only done grudgingly to keep the "old-timers" happy - but it ain't necessarily so!
(and I'm not saying that Richard meant it that way). In this case, the "legacy" from the 8048 is a very fine inheritance - why would they ditch something so useful?! |
