A microprocessor is not designed for fast reaction to external stimuli (Windows/Linux both process (the result of) interrupts "when they get around to it" A microcontroller is designed for fast reaction to external stimuli (when a pulse comes, get it (fully) processed bfore the next pulse) Erik |
