... it performs a read from PCON, the OR itself, and a writeback.
I was writing PCON direcly many times in AT89C5x with no side effects. However, the binary number looks suspicious. What assembler is it? Are you sure it "understands" this as 0x80? Can you check it in the .lst file or similar? JW |
