#147580 - Atmel
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Vaclav Kozak said:
We had Atmel in school and... and I love it.

Atmel make (at least) 3 different types of microcontrollers:

  • 8051 Architecture;

  • ARM Architecture;

  • AVR (proprietary) architecture.

    They are all completely different - this forum is just for the 8051 architecture (not just from Atmel).

    I have uP AT89S51 at home and trying use LEDs (Output I/O) as first step. But I can not guess/find/think... where are address of I/O pins.

    Start with the Tutorials here:

    AVR studio do NOT support AT89S51

    Correct!

    As the name suggests, it supports only AVRs!
