its right, some DOS programs can not work at >= 333MHz.

If you can not get an update, you can try to use power management
to reduce the CPU speed (e.g. to 75%) and then start the program
in a DOS box.
The exact way to reduce the speed differ in wide variety, since it
depend from your motherboard and the programs delivered with it.
