#143048 - Power supply Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I did have an issue with the power supply :(...Everytime I plug in the ac adapter I found the power supply will display 3.0V... When I assemble, build and download the program, the power supply will display 2V for eg...But once I step to my ADC code the power supply will start to display 3.0V.. Sounds like something is drawing excessive current. Have you measured the current consumption of your circuit - especially during this voltage "droop"? Are you sure that the powersupply is adequate for the purpose? It would be a good idea to properly understand what's going on here - otherwise you risk damaging something with excessive current, and/or causing erratic operation due to the out-of-spec supply voltage... |
