#143043 - Clarify?
Responding to: ???'s previous message

I am using the integrated ADC in the 8051

What 8051?

The basic 8051 has no ADC: you need to specify the manufacturer and full part number - including all prefix and suffix letters & digits - for the specific part you are actually using.
Better still, post a link to the Datasheet.

to display 0V-3V

An ADC doesn't display anything!
You need to consider two steps here:
1. The ADC converts its analogue input into a digital value;
2. You need to take that value, and display it.

If your display is wrong, your first step must be to determine whether the problem lies in step 1 or step 2 - or both!
(it is probably easiest to get the display working first)

I tried to pump in the voltage from the power supply,

What power supply?
What do you mean by "pump in"?
Where do you "pump" this voltage into?

As Steve says, you need to show your circuit!
For instructions, see: http://www.8052.com/users/jonled/noob.pdf

I found that the power supply always show 3.05V and I can't tune the power supply

Surely that's an issue with the power supply, isn't it?
