#129697 - In response to Jan and Neil
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Thanks Jan and Neil for your replies. I am using the evaulation board for the Silicon Labs C8501F330 (http://www.keil.com/dd/docs/d...1f33x.pdf). I'm using the Keil assembler (evaluation version) that ships with the evaulation board. I do have external ram (512 bytes). My understanding is that if I say:

myfifo: ds 128

then the assembler will reserve 128 bytes for me in the external memory space. That's true, right? Any thoughts as to how I can offset the dptr? Thanks!
