In my application I use the sleep mode of the uC (which is the only way I would use KBI by the way). So my implementation is as shown here:
http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=119774 I turn the KBI off until the next time I need to go to sleep. Perhaps you have stumbled on something I missed by simply turning it off... ? If your uC is awake the whole time, I would just use an event timer and poll it. GB |
