#114839 - Farsi Fonts Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello dear Karim,
You have 3 ways : 1- Use a FontGen software to export your desired TTF (True Type Font , Windows fonts) Font's Data to a binary file. There are some softwares around mostly named Fontgen. Let me know if you were unable to find one . 2- Use this ready made converted font by dear hossein here : 16 pixels Heigh , ~8(Not sure) pixels Width http://www.8052.com/users/hossein/index.phtml 3- Generate your own font . Due to the complexity of the persian characters your characters will need at least 16 pixels in height when you try to convert DOS/Windows fonts to RAW data. You could generate your own fonts , if you do not have enough pixels available, but characters wouldn't come out so nice. I did tried making a variable width Farsi font with the heigh fixed at 8. If you are interested I could give that to you. I also made a simple software to generate the fonts , you could have it also if you liked to. Good Luck Farshid |
