If you're referring to an HD44780-type character LCD, and an equivalent LED module, you may be out of luck. The HD44780 and its clones provide you with the ability to customize a few characters. The character generator ROM built into the HD44780 provides Arabic numerals, Roman Alphabet, and Kanji characters. There are a few character (8) generator RAM locations available for custom characters. I doubt the latter will be sufficient for a character set aside from the two that are supported in ROM.

Please provide more detail as to what, exactly, you mean by "LCD and LED display."
