#112575 - Intel was first Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The RD2 for example, it started when they made the 80C51FA, which evolved through 80C51Rx and the various Philips markings (RD+, very inventive).
<i9>when a manufacturer starts a totally weird numbering scheme Intel was first. The 87C51GB and The 8x51Fx were named "51" and had 256 bytes of RAM, Both waer out in '91 (the data on by "bible" which includes these datasheets) |
