it is always a problem to make a perfect system. I think FAT..FAT32 is no good choice for embedded, but a great reason to change data directly with your PC. I use MMC-Cards with SPI and HDD with IDE in PIO-Mode. I use the Atmel DataFlash Card with 2MB,4MB and 8MB. (It works fine) same hardware as for MMC-Cards (SPI). good luck ! Sascha |
