There are free ones available that fit on the 8051. Use the search. Indeed, this exact topic has been discussed here before: http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=92064 The source that comes with the development kit I referenced is quite reasonable... I've got this development board at my desk and a 64 MB MMC card; I've had no trouble reading/writing MP3s from/to the card on both the development board and other (including PC-based) FAT-aware systems. --Sasha Jevtic |
