Many philips and some atmel parts have a built in bootloader.
They program via RS232 through the serial port. (with a level shifter of course). Do you know C? ASM vs a HLL (High Level Languge) is a preferance. Comercial compilers can cost over $1000 US. Or, be free like SDCC. |
