This question comes up every now and then. With "real," e.g. ARM, processors available at costs under $5 per unit (considerably less than some 805x types) in modest (~100) quantity, you should be looking at them rather than trying to make a simple 8-bit MCU do the job. It's inherently possible, but an RTOS probably belongs on a different class of MCU.
