#109837 - if, the port is "5V tolerant" and drivin Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I am using a pullup on Port 0. The pullup should connected to 3v3, right.
if, the port is "5V tolerant" and driving "slow" 5V devices, AND the port, if configurable, is configured as open collector, they should be connected to 5V. If the port is not "5V tolerant" or can not be configured OC, then 3V3. "make the 3v3/5 interface to the latch" If you driv 5V circuitry from the latch outputs and the latch is powered bt 5V, then the 3v3 to 5V conversion should be between the uC and the latch. PS why use the the P89LV51RD2 instead of the 5V P89V51RD2 when you need 5V drive??? Erik |
