#109804 - How to declare a chip as dead? |
Hi all,
Its been really long weekend with projects. I am now struck with two 89s52 chips: both of them dont get get programmed successfully. I am using the programmer and hardware as discussed here. Both of my chips get programmed for some 200-500 bytes, then randomly, some location shows up write error, and the programming fails. I also checked parallel programming, both the chips dont show up anything(parallel programming doesnt even read the chips). My current program is some 2500 bytes of opcode, but I could program smaller programs like blinky or hello world (which are <100 bytes). I suspect the Flash has demised, but I am not sure about this. I would get a newer chip tomorrow, and check out the programming. Suggestions, welcome. Regards, Vignesh. |
