Well, I would like to discuss the exact application: temperature sensing. The choice was to use LM335, and having a ADC+'51, but I also considered:
1. Using comparator of 89c2051 as a crude ADC, using the technique discussed in Atmel's website, 2. Or buying Dallas One wire temp. sensor, and do the serial transfer. Is option two viable anywhere in India? If so, this would make the life pretty simple. Thank you so much for all of your replies, and especially Andy's link! Regards, Vignesh |
