I think you'll probably have problems with XP as it doesnt allow direct control of the ports without some suitable driver and then the timing goes wrong,same with windows NT.cable needs to be less than 2 metres maximum and i would try it on a machine which uses a proper DOS which can actualy talk to the hardware controlling the ports. |
