#108300 - Way out of the loop - Need some guidance |
Looking to get into working with 8051/52 and possibly using Basic or C to program with for some projects I would like to make happen. I have programed recently in VBA and in assembly language and Pascal in the past ..... way in the past 1982 in college, no real knowledge of C. I have seen countless books on PIC's / C and would like some insite on who to read, what benifits C has over Basic to program in and what FREE editing/debuging system, complier etc to look at.
A few of the books I was looking at are: The 8051/8052 Microcontroller: Architecture, Assembly Language, And Hardware Interfacing (Paperback) by Craig Steiner Microcontroller Cookbook (Paperback) by Mike James Thanks for your help in advance. |
