i think our eyes cannot see infrared signals is it true. It depends on wavelength. If you have an 880nm emitter and much current is driven through it, then you can see the crytsal weakly glimming red. If you use a 935nm emitter, on the other hand, then at same current the glimming is even more weak or nearly invisible. Take care, you should not look directly into the IR-Led if high currents are flowing. Use only diffuse shining types. Kai |
