I assume by BB SPI, you're talking about what I posted in my original query.
That won't be any problem as the processor will have very little to do in the system that I'm working on, it's just going to have to get a few data pieces from a running automobile and send the data to a PC. I could actually do it with just the PC, but this seems like a better solution, specifically because I can attach a display (LCD for example) and eliminate the PC altogether if I would like. As far as a uC with a built in SPI, what would you recommend? Truth be told though, if I were looking for a different processor, I'd get one with a built in ADC (eliminating the need for the SPI in firmware) |
