#106918 - serial watcher Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I tried with serialwatcher.exe,RS232 Hexcom tool v6.0...
the funny thing is when the hyperterminal or serial watcher.exe is configured as 9600,Odd,8,1 and the 8051 board transmits say 0101 0111B which has parity of 5(hence 'ODD')the hyperterminal or whatever software will show received byte as 0101 0111B and when I change the configuration of hyperterminal or serialwatcher.exe as 9600,Even,8,1 the received byte is 0101 0111B!!! |
