A DS5000 controller card.
4 Input pins from an optical encoder to the controller.
5 output pins from the controller card to 7 segment LCD.

This optical encoder has 4000 counts which I have to display the numbers of counts on four 7-segment LCD using the 8051 controller card. However, there aren't enough outputs pins to the LCDs.

What can I do to solve the problem and how can I build the circuit......?
