For 9600,No,8,1 in mode 3 the configuration would be
S0C0N for UART0 as 11010000B For 9600,Even,8,1 in mode 3 the configuration would be S0C0N for UART0 as 11010000B For 9600,Odd,8,1 in mode 3 the configuration would be S0C0N for UART0 as 11000000B I tried to find the 952 datasheet on the web, google can not find it, please post a link. If the 952 has changed ther meaning of SCON.4 so it is not REN any more, ignore the following. There is no "parity generator" in the UART. Mode 3 ia 9 bits, so you can not do No,8,1 in mode 3, that would be mode 1. if, indeed, in the 952 SCON.4 is REN (I will assume so) you will need to read upo on the UART in "the bible" Erik |
