#106722 - Parity settings in 89LPC952 |
Hi,
I am trying to do serial communication with different baud rates.I have a question. For 9600,No,8,1 in mode 3 the configuration would be S0C0N for UART0 as 11010000B For 9600,Even,8,1 in mode 3 the configuration would be S0C0N for UART0 as 11010000B For 9600,Odd,8,1 in mode 3 the configuration would be S0C0N for UART0 as 11000000B TB8(bit number 4 in S0C0N register) being the parity bit. Is this configuration correct? Please let me know if any other thing has to be done for partiy configuration. Thanks, Shruthi |
