At this point I must decide between programing with:
My opinion 1) drop the BASIC, I guess you will get in performance trouble. 2) why decide between assembler and C. Use both. Where I have time critical applications you will see my code being 5-20% assembler for the performace critical part and C for the rest. Strat off in C only, then, if needed (if you see it from the start of find it out) rewrite a small part in assembler. another point: are you sure that the limited code memory in the 8252 will be enough? I would use a "full" processor for the development and then, if it will fit go for a smaller one. Erik |
