The question is why does it only happen on some types of microcontrollers and not others?
Since you do not destroy them by touching it can be something as simple as the geometry of the die. Could it be they sell us the factory rejected microcontrollers for this part of the world! I doubt that very much. If e.g. Miele decided to move the building of their control boards to Jordan and then discovered a much higher failure rate something dramatic WOULD happen. Erik |
