Yes I think it is ESD because if I earth myself, problem doesn't happen. Do you mean that you earth yourself to the wall-outlet's ground or to your circuit's ground ? Maybe this will help , Seperate your circuit's GND and Earth, If it is safe. Then try to earth yourself ,Now you shouldn't have any ES charge. Try to see what happens now if you touch the chip.If it hangs up again source of your problem would be somewhere else. Farshid |
