Can I insert a 1k ohm resistor inbetween the TXOUT and RXIN pins and switch the resistor between ground and the TXOUT - RXIN pin? You can insert an 1k resistor between TXOUT and RXIN. Then, connect your noise source to RXIN pin via a 10k resistor. This will still allow TXOUT to drive the RXIN pin, undergoing a dampening of only 10k /(1k + 10k)= 0.91). Dampening of signal of noise source, on the other hand, is 1k / (10k + 1k) = 0.09. Kai |
