#104616 - Check your UUT first Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Chan TaiMan,
So you really Chan TaiMan, please forgive my question in the last mail as I always think such name is a fake funny name! Say, Ho BitMan, Dai TauBing ....etc. you know what I mean as both of us know Cantonese... So back to the qustion, have you ever get success to run the test program on the Unit Under Test with the actual chip that with actual test program loaded?? Or you just use the POD of the ICE to plug into the CPU socket to run your assembly code?? The ICE will do many things for you and will hide many hardware problems on your CCT. Say some even uses its own clock, but actually you got problem on your Xtal and the cap. on your board... And I had ever seen some guys just forgot to connect the E/A pin to select the internal or external code space but the ICE(The one that I saw from Fujain,Mainland China) just ignor that and work fine fine fine. Don't 100% trust the results get from the Mainland made ICE!! You can verify those form the discussion fourm in Mainland China such as the 21icbbs ..etc. Hope you solve your problem. Best 73 from Li. |
