#104173 - Should 51's get warmed under work ? |
Hi,
I have had a very old design which is running since more than 1.5 years ago.the system is built around an AT89S52.and One day I've noticed that the MCU gets a little bit hot , to give some extent it warms up to about 40 Degree centigrade where the atmosphere temprature is about 5 'C. I think taht something is going wrong with it can somebody confirm ? System has been working if not beyond but near the maximum Sourcing/Sinking capabilities of the MCU.But there wasn't a single I/O pin failure(I mean burnt I/O's) or visible chip damage or any need to change the MCU. |
