Hi steve,
By 'Bar magnets' did you mean the magnets which are used in refrigerator doors to keep the door closed ? i thought that they are so weak for this purpose ! and about the speaker magnet i've had tested the sensor with the edges of the Speaker magnet , which is about 7 mm's width. that didn't triggered the sesnor also :( . from UGN3213's datasheet : "North pole to branded side Typ: -48 G" can some body make a G (Gauss ?) sensful for me , how much power has a 1 G and is a 48 G an overkill(wihch is the typical sensitivity of the UGN) i'll try to find more magnet and test them also. |
