Nothing wrong with C++ in embedded systems - as long as your embedded processor supports a "this" pointer without dying.
C++ is not equivalent with billions of new/delete in the code or a forced use of huge stream or STL libraries. So you can have identical efficiency compared to C. Just with extended rules for type checking, name spaces, data encapsulation etc. |
