Hi Andy,
You're describing a GFCI, which stands for Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. In the context of an alarm (in this case fire alarm), GFI stands for Ground Fault Indicator. And this is a perfect example of why it is a mistake to rely too heavily on abbreviations. Joe |
