So many hardware vendors pride themselves on how much range they can get out of their wireless equipment. Privacy would be much better served if home/office WIFI didn't have so much range.
I've been trying to find a low-power transceiver, not for WIFI, but for other uses, that had a range of under 30 meters, yet would still penetrate the walls in the house. So far I've always been able to "talk" from the neighbors' houses. RE |
