| I have to say that I've used AVR Studio a lot in past times. It was always in conjunction with programming and using Atmel's AVR line of microcontrollers. It worked well for that line.
I cannot say just how compatible the tool set and its associated utilities would be with the AT89 series 8051 type microcontrollers. Personally I would find it hard to believe if Atmel put a lot of stress on the AT89 series compatibility considering that they call the tools "AVR Studio" and "AVRISP". Michael Karas |
