Assuming that noise is not a criteria ( there is too much of other noise near the equipment anyway ..) would something around 5 kHz be OK ? And in this range switching times of the FET should be an insignificant aspect ? With regard to commutation I guess I am safe here also as the rpm seldom exceeds 1200 .
