| The whole point of the tool is that you can make the font look like you need or want it to look like per your usage. 
 I have to agree that I do not like all of the characters that are included as samples in the spreadsheet copy that I uploaded. The characters in the samples came from youTube videos that I watched that showed other folks ideas of what the characters should look like. I've played around with the some of the ones I didn't like much and in some cases I found what I thought to be improvements. Others leave a whole lot to the imagination no matter how you try to map the 16-segments!!! This type of display has been, for the most part, supplanted by dot matrix character mode LCD modules. I guess they persist mostly for larger type displays made for viewing from ~25 to 50 feet of distance. For sizes larger than that (and meant for viewing from greater distances) dot matrix LEDs have become the norm. Michael Karas |
