As far as I was concerned Bob Pease was as near a god as makes no difference. I was close to tears yesterday, an old friend and mentor had died - Bob always replied to my emails, and we met in Manchester a few years ago, at a National seminar. He and I talked about walking and climbing.
Jim Williams was another genius. His paper on bridge techniques is classic. What's utterly tragic is Bob died returning from Jim William's memorial. Steve |
