The thing is I'm making a device which have to work with all the regular expression pedals available.
These are linear or logarythmic.

A midi controlled volume always expects linear data. The 'human ear conversion' is done in the receiving device.

So it's common practice to convert a log potmeter to a linear output. The output is a 7 bit value so a lookup table is a fast and easy solution.

I'm going to try to make the lookup table.
