| That's "us" as in "developers of small microcontroller-based systems"
See: http://www.eetimes.com/electroni...geNumber=1 And: http://www.keil.com/forum/18941/ Google want to make Android a USB Device ("slave") - so that any accessory would have to be a USB Host. How could that be good for "us"? Well, a common question here (and on other similar forums) is, "How can I connect <some USB device> to an 8051?" - and the asnwer is, "You can't, because that would require the 8051 to be a USB Host". But, if Android spawns a whole host of accessories that are USB Hosts, that could make life a lot easier for small microcontrollers... What do you think...? |
