I seem to remember that TI retained the Burr-Brown and Benchmarq "branding" for a long time after acquiring them.
But Luminary was rebranded as TI very quickly indeed. I wonder which way it'll go with NS...? With National Semiconductor being such a long-established and well-known name, I guess they might retain it for some time... |
