The Nice Thing About Standards is There are so many to choose from.
You want a common voltage. We can not even standardize which side of the road to drive on. Per Very true Con Ed ( The Power company for N.Y City just recently stopped providing D>C Power to buildings in the City. A need left over from Edison's Original Generators. Note the Buildings still use D.C. But they conversion is now in the buildings. |
