I'm aware of the facts regarding NI. I have purchased and worked with several of their products, both hardware and software.
It's their app-notes that seem to be a constant source of trouble. Like many otherwise reasonable advertisers, and it is the fact they're wearing their advertiser/marketing hat when they do this that is the apparent source of the problem, they're so focused on making things appear to be dirt-simple, that they publish app-notes that simply don't work as published. There's generally an underlying principle that is valid, but I certainly don't understand why NI, among others, publish app-notes that haven't been verified. Nevertheless, if you rely on one of their app-notes, you get what you deserve. RE |
