If you need to capture 400Hz signals, I'm not so sure 1kHz is a good sampling rate.
You should have a low-pass filter to handle signals above 50% of the sampling rate, but with a larger margin between highest frequency you want to capture and the sampling rate you don't need so steep filter. |
