I agree that the polling is very outdated and should be replaced by a more modern approach. I also feel that a lot of older users of this forum have left simply because the task of polling is a lot of work. I always look back at the logs to see how people have evolved over the years and notice that some quite brilliant people just leave the forums altogether; not knowing why for any particular reason, except that the idea of a poll board leaves the board to be easily left behind. |
